Carolina Hernandez Powers

Carolina began practicing EMDR in 2017. Carolina helps her clients with PTSD, complex trauma, cultural identity issues, chronic health issues, and ADHD. She is passionate about helping BIPOC clients, parents of children with complex needs, military personnel/veterans and their families, and first responders.

As a BIPOC therapist and Consultant in Training (CIT), Carolina is passionate about representation in our community and supporting other BIPOC therapists on their EMDR journey.

In addition to being Treasurer of the AK EMDR Network, Carolina is a therapist at Foundations Therapeutic Services, and Director at The Mental Health Co-Op. She provides EMDR consultation, supervision services for LCSW and LPC candidates, and general clinical consultation to mental health professionals.
